    Yellow fog lights

I'm looking at getting these for my A4 "SPP Precision Optics H7 80 Watt Yellow" and I was wondering if anybody has had issues running this high of a Watt in their car?

I can't find it again, but I thought I read somewhere people saying they had 80 W bulbs and it burnt out the fog light housing? I tried to find it again but I couldn't......

so I was just wondering if anybody else had heard or read this before, and if I would be safe running the 80 W or should I Just get the 55 W?

    thanks

    Re: Yellow fog lights

I'd run 80 watters off a relay. If they are too hot for the housing their is nothing you can do about that except run lower wattage bulbs.

Another option is a hid kit which will put out significantly more light with less current draw.

Or you can be cheap and get $10 Lamin-x film for your fogs. Looks awesome.

    3000k.

I had the 55w dichroic yellow halogen bulbs in my stock fogs and they were great.

    Re: Yellow fog lights

yellow fogs @ 55 wats is already plenty bright. here are mine which are 55w nokia yellow lights. they were only 20 buxs and have lasted me over a year without burning out or giving me any problems. i think that getting HID fogs is a serious waste of money unless you get it for really cheep
