Can u really watch DVDs on the audi nav unit?

I read that the euro version of Audi's nav unit allow u to watch dvds while parked? Is this true? And if so why can we not do that with the US versions? I called Beverly Hills Audi and they said its not possible with the US nav. Whats the difference and can the stock be modded to watch while in traffic?

Looks like a regular RSN-E to me, not one pic of it playing a dvd either. And that's just a straight copy from an e-bay ad which looks to be a total scam...

One of the tech's here has put DVD units into A3s and A4s allowing them to play movies through the factory screen with steering wheel controls. I know he was working on doing it with the MMI as well. I'll ask him how it's coming along!
