I have rondell wheels and I need some center caps built. They are about 6mm disk that stick onto a plastic snap in piece like oem. i would like to build a whole assembly with engraved rings thats snaps in where the plastic one fits. or just get four new disk made and powder coat or paint.

Engineer in college but if you would like to give me 20 grand to buy a cnc machine then no go for me lol...

Your best bet is to try to find the original company or to see if OEM caps fit...

If you come up with the design and specs you can find a good machine shop nearby to make the parts for you. They'll need a drawing with dimensions.

I can do the design work if you want to throw me a couple bucks. Then you just need to take a parasolid or step file of the 3d model to a machine shop. They can bang out the center caps easily. I imagine it would be easier to do them on a manual lathe though, then engrave whatever logo you would like into them using a CNC mill with a centerdrill or tiny end mill.

I could supply you with dimensioned drawings and the 3D part file information

Try E-Machine Shop at http://www.emachineshop.com/ ... they did a small project me that worked out well and their price was reasonable.
