First off you need to replace those bolts anyways...they are torque-to-yeild bolts and must always be replaced!
First, get new bolts from the dealer and also new flywheel bolts as well!
Second, I stripped those bolts as well, and I had to take my dremel cut a nice big slot in it, and then et some visegrips around a big flathead screwdriver and use the vicegrips as leverage to unscrew the bolts...took soem time but worked like a charm.
Third, I originally replaced those bolts with the OEM bolts and they suck ass! I stripped them off while trying to torque them down (during install). They are only grade 8.8, so I went to my local hardware store (ACE) and got the identical bolt (plus these ones use a socket and not a damn allen socket) in grade 10.9 hardened steel...worked like a CHARM! I wouldnt use anything else now!
Fourth, be VERY careful when removing the pressure plate, I though the clutch disk was already in the pressure plate, but it wasnt and the 10lb disk (or however much it weighs) dropped down and smacked me right in the tooth...I though it had cracked completely off, but luckily it didnt it was just hella loose...but all is good now
Fifth, that civic is looking fresh
