    Summer '08 Mods...What ya think?

    After several months of owning this car and hanging out on the forum, I finally came up with some definite mods for Summer '08. Please keep in mind I'm on a tight budget (need to put $$$ away for school, fraternity, maintenance, clothes, etc...) Let me know what ya think

    Replace rear turn signals to chromium bulbs
    (Previous owner used different bulbs = light up diff. shades of yellow)
    Completely debadge rear except rings
    Install Vibrant 1303 Tips
    Joey Mod lights
    DIY Blackout Upper/Lower Grill
    Delsa Trunk Spoiler

    Additionally, if I have more $$$:
    Stasis Streetsports
    18" RS6 or RS4 Reps...USP wheels are also being considered

    I'm aiming for an OEM + ride...

    ^i agree with that guy. im just going to eventually suck it up and buy ecode housings for $500. hopefully sell my stock ones for a couple hundred.

    I might purchase a set of back-up lights incase something goes wrong. From my research, the hardest part is getting the lights separated since its "chemically" bonded or something like that. In the past, I've blacked out a set of 3 headlights (both on Honda's)

    If all else fails, I'll just get some ecodes and call it a day!

    don't buy the delsa spoiler yet although it's cheap. try to get the lowers painted or some body kits then spoiler

    Sorry, dude, I would have to disagree and say that it was 63 dollars well spent for the delsa. If you put it on carefully, it looks good IMO

    not bad, suse u should do ur blacking out now, costs $4 for paint! i've painted my grills 5 times in the last 6 months, all different colors!LOL! ya but i'm nuts! and anyone know where i could find a joey-mod DIY couldn't find it on the forum!

    thats a totally doable list! not too costly at all.......

    youre so lucky to have an arctic white to start off with!! its my fav color for sure....i like my light silver, but it wasnt my first choice.....just got a great deal on it!!

    Thanks. In essence, I'm trying to enhance my car as I would have liked it to come from the factory. I'm 100% positive all those mods will get done, but I'm hoping I can get it dropped and new rims to complete the look. If not, next summer will be the summer when it gets done.

    I'm also liking the white since it has grown on me. I was actually looking for a silver or blue WRX at the time, but I couldn't find a decent one. Then I showed up to a random dealer and there she was! I like the fact that white a4's are kinda rare too :)

    dude you probably need all but $100 to do what you listed. Except the wheels, obviously.

    The lights arent "chemically" bonded or anything, lol...its just glue...

    I would DEFINETLY buy a spare light and practice on that first!!!

    For example, my first light took 2.5 hours to just split apart, and the second like took 35 minutes to take apart.

    That's why I keep a set of broken DOT halogens, I will sell them if you want.
    Delsa spoiler, I just put mine on, VHB 3M tape does wonders, so far it holds on well, fitment is a bit off, but other than that it's good.

    Talk to Greg (actlsub9) about StreetSports. He's replacing his with MotorSports.

    I may sell my 18" RS4 reps if the price is right.
