Alrite guys so I have a problem....I got my A3 bout a year ago and have been fine runnin it with no plates until i got pulled over the other day for not having it.. Of coarse it was a motorcycle cop who pulled me over....

I have the plate for the front but i want to put it on without taking the europlate cover off. I took it off and was going to custom drill some holes but there was just oo much room on each side of the American plate.

Anyone have any ideas...a hole to tap into? or a place to put it where it can be off center...

That fucking skid plate needs to come out asap

    Thanks

    Re: A3 Front License Plate

the skidplate and magnets are both good ideas. i used to rock a euro plate on my mk4 and that's it, and now with my a3 i havent had any kind of plate in the front. ive only gotten pulled over once for it, and it was bc everyone at this gtg was getting pulled over and hassled, but i didnt get a ticket. i guess i've been lucky- i pass cops in cars, on foot, on bike all the time, they look but they seem to be cool about it.

if i do start getting ticketed though, i'll just have to change my route to work/out etc. to avoid them. my car just does not do front plates :)

I have used 3m double sided sticky tape.

if you prep it right(cleaning with rubbing alcohol), It will stay on until you want it to come off
