    Re: S4 DoorBlades (FiberGlass) HELP!!!

The factory door blades to not bend at all. If they made these decently they should just glue right to the car with no issues.

If you want you can remove one of your lower door mouldings and do a test fit to see how you loke it.

Guess you can't tap the ends where factory screws go in? I dont know and/or work with fiberglass.

    Re: S4 DoorBlades (FiberGlass) HELP!!!

You cannot tap into fiberglass but there are pop rivets that are threaded that you can install.

To be honest though this is much simpler than that. Remove the facotry trim,, clean the area that these are going to install to with laquer thinner, apply some adhesive to the doorblades and let cure for about 10 minutes, tape them in place with blue painters tape, wipe away any excess adhesive with water and a rag, come back in 24 hours, they will be attached for life.

    Re: S4 DoorBlades (FiberGlass) HELP!!!

No. you will have to remove the stock trim, open the door and look at the bottom sill from the inside, you will see small phillips screw on the front of the door and the back, remove the two screw and slide the trim forward (it will take a little strength).

The trim will then pop off, you can then test fit the fiberglass blades

Finally, someone did this and posted about it. For the last I don't know how many years, there is like one post a month about these things and no one ever gave a clear answer.
Now we need to get someone to remember this thread so we can repost it every timre someone asks from here on out.
