Nexens are shit. Here are a couple resonable options and Town Fair tire will price match with the following prices from tirerack (atleast their radio ad says they do...)

I am assuming you want 18's since i saw the pic of the replica 18" wheels in your sig link.

    here's a couple options from Tirerack.com: 235-40-18:
Fuzion ZRi = $106 (Generic Bridgestone)
    General Exclaim UHP = $106
    Sumitomo HTR Z III = $118
    Kumho Ecsta SPT = $122
    Dunlop Direzza DZ101 = $126 + $50 rebate when you buy 4 tires.

All of these are much better than the POS Nexen they are trying to sell you. There are a couple things not to cheap out on, Brakes, Tires and engine oil.

Yea, the last thing you want to cheap out on is tires. Think about it, its you ONLY contact patch to the ground. That little bit of traction or handling can save you from a HUGE accident.

yea i called them up right before they were closing and told them "look, i came in looking for summer tires and i just looked these up and theyre all seasons. i dont want them" and of course they tryed selling them saying most tires now are all seasons and blah blah. even knowing i work at a dealership and probably know a thing or two about cars they tried feeding me this crap. the only reason im going there is because i can get a discount through the dealership.

when i was talking to the guy on the phone saying i didnt want the nexens, i told him i was looking online at some tires, and mentioned the kumho ecsta SPT's, which he couldnt seem to find in his computer and pulled up some tire that was like $400. i told him i would just come down tomorrow on my lunch break and figure shit out. deffinatly NOT getting all seasons though. i dont know if they match online prices though because you have to factor in the shipping.

if anyone knows some good summer tires that are about $150 a pop in store (not online) feel free to mention them! thanks!

Lowest Price Garantee from Town Fair Tire

Here they claim to beat internet pricing...

add $75 onto the total price of 4 tires for shipping. Every tire i mentioned should be avaliable for less than $150 a tire. If you not getting it for less that $150 you are not getting a fair deal.

If you work at the dealership i would assume you have a contract with tirerack as most dealerships i have dealt with have a contract with them.

They do this to control prices and to rape customers thus making more $$.

    Good luck.

If i could do it all over again, i would get separate tires for summer and winter. i bought the new BF Goodrich super sport all season tires and they are great in the rain and dry but absolutely horrible in the snow my ABS comes on every time i slightly put any pressure on the brakes,
