I just got back from having my radiator fixed after getting backed into the other week. The state farm adjusters are taking forever to get my set up so I just fixed it on my own and I'll show them the receipt later.

Anyways, a roll into 1st gear to 3rd gear about 10-80 mph.

Don't know what that rattling is...i think its the camera banging on the headrest posts since i just jammed it in there.

yeah still running a racetec gen 2 fmic. I need a new core but that will wait. Its banged up and its been rewelded twice...and i have a nice crease in it from getting backed into. hopefully insurance cuts me a check for a new one.

just shot it an hour ago on the way back to work. i just jammed a regular point and shoot camera in between the headrest and seat. Works pretty good. haha

bern, its an atp replica manifold with an knock off tial wastgate. I welded my own downpipe. I had a real tial but it didn't have ANY holes tapped. I just returned it and stole a fake tial off my friend. Works perfect so i'll just keep it till it breaks. .

Racetec is a little small for the GT30, so it might be time to upgrade to the ER Competition 600hp kit or even go straight to the ER Race Series 800hp FMIC kit.

They have a standard pipe that will work for a bottom mounted turbo which puts the output facing downward. I have had Fred at ER make up a charge pipe like I use for a top mounted turbo with the outlet facing toward the fender, this pipe can be ordered with either of the B5 kits.

Estimate breaks down to

$550 bumper skin (which i had to fight for)
$300 paint
$100 mount and align
$189 condensor
$70 ac recharge

1200 about.

I still may be able to get more. I can get 2 estimates from body shops of my choice and they will consider that into the damaged value I get.

I can still fight to get new bumper shocks too since they did compress.

Well if it is on your car they have to replace it with something. What you can do is print out prices from sites showing the price of the Racetec fmic you have on your car which would be the replacement price they would have to cover. Then you can use that money to upgrade to something larger.

Well if they are aftermarket parts they will ask you what their values were or what are the replacement costs, so it can help if you then hand them invoices with prices from shops that sell the parts. If you need one for a Racetec fmic let me know.
