Yep, they can be pretty fun, but problematic. They really were ahead of their time with some of the features they came with. The SLC, VR6, is the one to have IMHO, but there are G60 purist out there that would disagree. I'd love to find a 24v VR6 with a 6spd to swap into my SLC. There is a guy around that put a TDI into one!

Love that GLI!!!!!!!! Had one before i got the avant. Love it, fast as hell, but wrecked it at about 80 into an embackment, trees and some big f-n rocks. Pushed the undercarage up into rear seats. Yeah it sucked but, i sure do miss her. Had Millteck non-resonated, abd cold air, revo, H&R cupkit, 18x8.5 MasItaly wheels, Yellow Headlights. And Cam n order. Ordered them friday wrecked car sunday night. Anyway like the cars good luck with them.

The GLI is an 03 24v VR6 6spd. It was only produced for 1.5 yrs before they went to the "Fancy" one with the 1.8t, Recaros and BBSs. I'd take the 24v over the other options personally. I have Upsolute software, KW coilovers, AEM CAI, Magnaflow SS catback, 337 GTI front end swap, euro R32 stubby mirrors, M3 rear spoiler bonded to the trunk, black roof and mirrors, 18" BBS CHs, W12 light console, 04 center console with CUP HOLDERS and MOMO shift knob and boot. DAMN I've done alot to that car! It truley is a blast to drive and the Magnaflow on the 24v sounds great!!!!

well good luck with it. Love the power of the 24v. Nothing sounds better than that car with a good exhaust. If ever gonna sell it look me up.

Sweet cars all. Those CHs on the jetta look ridiculously hot. The corrado is one of my all time favorite cars. My brother totalled his G60 and was nearly killed in the process. Fine taste in rides!

can we get some interior pics of the GLI? My girlfriend has an 03 24v VR and when she gets done with school i am going to mod it a little. Yours is pretty much what she wants it to look like. keep up the good work!!!

I've thought about selling the GLI or Corrado to buy my friends Imola Yellow B5 S4. It's a fairly stock car but is really pretty clean. Not sure about owning a yellow car. It would be very hard to replace the GLI though... Also thought of selling the Corrado and looking for a 93-94 Corrado SLC. Too many choices!!!!

i had a dark blue '92 VR6 Corrado (they didnt call it an SLC in '92).. man, i miss that think.. just yesterday i thought about looking for one of those instead of a B6 Avant..

As far as I know the VR6s, which hit our shores in 92, were always called SLCs. My 92 is an SLC and so badged. In 93 they changed the interior a little but for the most part they were all the same. Early SLCs like mine had dizzy motors and the published 172hp rating was low from the factory. They actually returned quite a few of them to Germany b/c of slow sales, they were pretty expensive at the time. I'd like to find a 24v swap for it and finish the bodywork. You can find SLCs from $3500 on up to 10k, 5-6k should buy a pretty decent example. Go for it man, they are a blast and always turn heads where ever you go!

I love the super clean Rado. I had a 90 G60 in White that I bought for $750 cause the kid thought the engine was going... it was just a bad water pump and a whiny G60!

How can you sleep at night after ripping that Corrado off from some poor kid?. I have 2 friends with white G60s and there is one for sale nearby, but with a fugged up motor! Do you still have the G60? I've had a couple but I'll stick with the SLC! Yep the Avant is Atlas Grey. What hatch spoiler do you have? I'm looking for a USP hatch spoiler but not having much luck.

Yeah I love the Corrado. Everytime I think about selling it to finance a B5 S4 I simply drive it and the urge goes away. My newest acqusition is a 72' Karma Ghia that has been in some dudes garage since 1988! I'll get it running and then sell it.
