Question about Euro RS4 B7 seats on our B5

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Just got back from Germany(Berlin and Munich) I was able to purchase a set of B7 rs4 seats for a good price. Now the question is, can they be installed on a B5? And if so how much modification? Tried to do a search but cant come up with something solid. I see some people were going to try but did not post results. On a side note also got a couple of euro steering wheels as well. Also not sure if they will work or need extensive modification. Any help is appreciated.

kind of a last minute thing for me. I wish i had been better prepared. The parts their are unbelievably cheaper then what we pay here for euro parts. Im talking about used not new. Went to a couple of places that recycles car parts. Bought some parts and had then shipped over here. The parts wont get here for a good month since i went the cheapest route which is having them come here by ship.

OEM Rs4 b7 seats are ok on the b5.
But if we are talking about SPORT seats, then you won't have the airbag anymore. ;)

for the airbag lights, you have to use resistors in the plugs that would normally plug into the seats, i am sure i had to use different resistors for my gti, but i am sure someone on here knows which ones you would need for your b5! good luck!

4.7 to 5ohm 1/4 watt resistor will turn that airbag light off.
