What offset do I need if my 01 A6 has the HP2 calipers?

I bought a set of wheels thinking that 35mm offset is the right offsetfor my 2001 A6 2.7t, but they didnt clear the brake calipers. I had to use spacers up front, and i dont even know what size spacer they are cause they were used and just laying around. Anyone know the proper offset so no spacers are needed?

Also lets say the wheel had a 35mm offset. And I add a 10 mm spacer. What would the new offset be? 25mm or 45mm?

even with 35mm offset, there is no guarentee. It depends on the type of spokes you have, we went through 3 different wheels before we found a set we liked that would clear the calipers. Also, since HP2's are floating calipers, if you don't have new pads in them, you'll need to compensate for that with spacers as well.

Do some research on which wheel designs will clear your calipers. Offset may clear but spoke and barrel design will come into play as well.

Do you have the drawing for the kit that you could email (for caliper dimensions, etc) ?
