Not a bad sight to have in front of your house.

My old wheels and coilovers are on my friend Lindsay's car now. Her car is in the shop at the moment getting a USP front put on as well as some other little things. Those wheels look WAY better on her car than they did on mine.

For the record, I have seen Lindsay's butt and I assure you it is not dumpy. You could bounce quarters off that badonka. LOL

And yes, let's take pics when you get home, your car is gonna look redic.

would raising the shock towers in the rear help that get down at all, or are you as far as the controls arms will let you go?

The rear can go down another inch or so no problem, it's the front that won't go down anymore. The control arms are literally resting on the top of the fenderwell at the moment. To go any lower I need to do something like this:

Structurally, that looks like alot of critical material to remove. May want to consider welding in some supports over the top of that for rigidity... just my $.02

I've seen some where they weld (yes, allot of work, but you bagged an a4, sooooooo its kind of a mute point...) a box of sorts over the top of the cut for both bracing and astetics, and then mold the new welds into the body and paint it.... Not sure that made sense, if not, I'll try to get pics.

Michael, I know what you're talking about, I've already thought of that myself. The pic above is actually a B5, and the B6 is a bit different design. The work required is the same concept, but the actual execution is different (let's just say I've got it covered ).

Actually, surprisingly enough, the only "irreversable" changes I've made to the car are the four holes drilled into the spare tire well for the air lines to pass through. Everything else has been bolt-in.

my thoughts exactly, you could even use the piece you cut out (assuming you're doing it with a torch and it comes out in one piece) as a template for how to build a raised piece.
