Just bought a 2005 A6 3.2 and have some question...

Hey all,

I just bought a 2005 Black/Amaretto 3.2 Quattro.

I am looking to do a few things and need some advice, thanks in advance.

1. Wheels: I am looking at 19" but fear that they will look small on the car, I do not want anything "gangsta" but am looking for a clean VIP look.

Here are the current options:

Option 1:Bremmer Kraft BR 02 in silver

Option 2: VMR v715 in hyper black

2. Suspension: What brand of springs does everyone suggest, I come from the J-pan side of things and most of my knowledge does not apply, however the name I know H&R & Eibach are both out there... just looking ofr some insight.

3. S6 LED driving lights... will they retro into the grills on a 05 A6 of will I have to hack a bunch of stuff? I have seen the threads around and have yet to see a 05+ with this mod... i fthere is a write up please help a noob out.

4. Trunk spoilers and front lips: Are there any options that I don't have to source from the motherland and if so can someone help me out?

and i have a 2004 S-Line and im gonna buy the VMR wheels, so i would go with them, but if you want a "VIP" look i would put somthing like these on it.

here they are on a A8, and i think they are around like $1100 without tires for all 4 NEW! very VIPish IMO .. so its a good buy.

and 19" is plenty big once you lower the car, but they do have 20" in that wheel as well , now if you want a "almost stock ride" get Eibach springs and koni shocks, whatever you do, DO NOT just put springs on the car, do springs/shocks/sways, and the link at the top has trunk/front bumper lips, have fun and enjoy.

those wheels look nice, but IMHO the car needs to be low like that to pull it off.

I like your second choice better but the manhole covers look good too. Keep in mind you will pay a lot more money for 19" tires than you would for 18's and 20's. I bought 19's just to have more side wall but got pissed when selecting tires for my 4.2 since I went with wider wheels. Just part of the game, same story with any "odd" wheel size = "more money"
