airbag may be different since B7 I believe introduced dual stage. maybe not a 2005.5 though. passenger on a B7 also has bladder occupancy pad so you might get an airbag light. anyway try it out, doesn't take that long.

Hey man, I know you want a nice car and all, and a salvaged one may seem like a good deal to you, but seriously, from someone with a bit more experience at this, stay away from flood cars. Freshwater, saltwater, ummm... tonic water... They're all bad. And while the ECU and other important electronics may have been up high enough not to get screwed by the flood, there are way too many other things that could be messed up. IE: Did the motor ingest any water? Are you replacing the entire interior, including sound deadening material? If not, you can look forward to mold, and that is a certainty. If it was salt water, or exposed for a long enough time, did the water strip away enough lubrication from critical parts to cause undue wear if not stripped down and refurbished? In general, you are better off stripping a flood car for parts, unless you stood there and watched the car get flooded, and you know 100% of the before, during, and after of the flood incident. And don't take this as me preaching to you or being a dick. I've seen people get flood cars and end up pissed off with electronics that do crazy stuff and engines that start misfiring and acting up a few weeks or months later. If you have been given this S4, and if you still have your A4, part both out, then buy a slightly used S4.

Thanks for the advise man, but i had teh car checked out for mechanics. It deff. was a fresh water flood about 2 in above the carpet. Everything in the car works, and if the motor ingested water, i think it would be locked. None of the fluids had water in them, and clutch was not wet. The only electronics that got touched were the seat modules. I plan on stripping the carpet and steam cleaning it all. Car does not smell as it is. Take what you will out of that, but I am confident in the car.. and it has 13k miles. And every package offered by Audi.
