    Bluetooth Question

I searched but could not find. I was trying to pair up my Blackberry from Bell (Non GSM) the other day. The connection to the systems seems to work but I cannot get my phonebook to show up in the display. Am I doing something wrong?

    Re: Bluetooth Question

It happens with some phones from what I noticed. I have used 4 phones with the bluetooth in my car and with one, the address book did not appear. It worked though. You can manually put #'s in to store

It's because it's not GSM. The car bluetooth uses your SIM card, so if you don't have a SIM card, you have to program your numbers yourself. You're not doing anything wrong,

I wonder if it is a blackberry security issue. I found this on another forum, but it seems like way too much trouble:

Check the compatibility list for the bluetooth device. It's possible that the blackberry isn't listed. I have to believe with all of the blackberry owners out there that they'll fix this soon, but you may try to contact RIM to see if it's a known issue.

Is your Blackberry on BIS or BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server)? If it's on BES, check with your BES Admin to see if they are restricting BT phonebook transfers in the security policies
