I have no recommendations for the back, but for the front you should be running a 225/40/18 tire.

Do NOT mix and match tire sizes on a quattro.

i got 18x9 for the rear front are 18x8
    would a 225 fit on a 9in wide wheel
but since the rear wheels are wider shouldnt i get a wider tire
like 225 in front and 235 in the rear

some 225's will clear 9 inches. youd have to look up the specs (tirerack.com has a good easy to read chart)

as far as the staggered setup, you need to research the rolling diameters of each tire youre looking at and make sure theres less than a 4% difference in size otherwise you'll be burning up your center differential.

As other have mentioned that is a not a good idea at all. Audi's have a lot of weight bias forward so why would you want to put smaller tires on the front? Audi's are meant to have equal sized tires all around...and to combat under steer some tuners have actually used larger tires in the front.

Not to mention but your choices are really limited getting a 225/40/18 with a load rating of 95 or better.

If you want to run a staggered set up buy a Bimmer, Benz or a '76 Monte.

    Cheers,
    Jim
