Any B5's running gtrs/revo tune?

I'm scheduled to bring in my car this friday to eurocode for my gtrs/revo tune while I'm away on vacation. I was wondering if there are any of you out there running this? Any comments on the turbo, tune, etc? btw, big shout to mike hood who helped me piece together pretty much everything, from the gtrs down to the racetec fmic. I'm thinking southbend stage 4 clutch and porsche boxster calipers next?

I have heard a tune for the 2001 but i have never come across someone that actually had it. I would be interested in seeing how it performs. I guess you are using the stock MAF housing/sensor and 440cc injectors. Keep us updated on how it feels and maybe get some logs up to see what is going on.

so the tune for the 2001's is pretty much just like the b6 tune i would imagine?

I'll be using the stock maf, but with Neuspeed TIP and 550cc injectors. I thought it would be 430cc but ecode said 550. I'll keep you all updated on the progress when I get back from spring break and pick up my car.

idk what kind of power I am putting down. maybe when you get your car back we should meet up and compare. Unitronic uses 440cc injectors @ 4 bar which is around 510cc so it should be pretty close to your revo tune(assuming they run the 550cc @ 3 Bar).

So, I'm back home in the east coast for break and I just got a call from eurocode that they found oil underneath the car. I hope it's not something huge or the turbo project may have to be scrapped. As much as I love audi's, it seems like it's nonstop minor problems left and right. My 335xi coupe on the other hand is doing great back at home and is almost broken in (792 miles). The thing is a beast, with the exception of the navi, which is the biggest POS in existence and I absolutely HATE IT. I really hope it's nothing major because I was looking forward to the GTRS, even though it's not a BAT.

i'm using the revo tuning on my 01, i'm still running my ko3s and so far i'm happy with the upgrade...alot cheaper that GIAC and APR, numbers are somewhat the same, boost wise it spikes to 20-21PSI and the holds arond 17-18psi.

there is no FPR on the B6's. yesh, sucks.. but the reason for using 550's from what i have been told is that vendors are able to supply 550's a lot easier than they were able to with the 440's. it has nothing to do with upgrading the software to be more aggressive or have a higher power output expectancy

I am a Revo dealer, and was told by Revo themselves that there is no gtrs software for any b5. A customer of mine had the hardware installed on his car and after months of back and forth with Revo, finally I was told that there is no software, and there won't be any time soon.

There has always been a 2001 REVO bt file. Even Javad at 034 had it in his 2001 and others have too. They do not have any BT files for the pre 2001 cars which have a narrow band 02 sensor.

There is software available, REVO did a tune for one of their employees (Robin) for the GTRS on a 2001.

WOW, I'm really concerned right now. I spoke with Robin himself and Canadian Revo headquarters' Carson about this about two years ago. I was told there is no s/w for us and maybe they will release one soon. After waiting over 4 months, I was told that there will be no software for this. This was a major issue for one of my clients that wanted to run Revo software! Ended up going with Mika and tweaking the hell out of it to get somehwere. if I recall, my client's ecu is a CH box. Could it be just no software for that particular ecu????? I'm really confused as to why I was led to believe there was no software.

Believe me there is a BT file for the 2001, I have asked about this many times and this is the Revo file that is going into audiholix 2001 this week or next week depending on when all the work gets finished.

Well I was told they did by a few different people that stated they were running a REVO 2001 file. Nick runs a it in his car and will be making a GTRS file for the CH. So by the end of the week there "will" be a CH file for the Elim

Eurocode is having Revo do the file. I am sure it will be a production file, I know I will be able to offer it to my customers.

I remember when the GTRS became SOOOO popular for the B6 1.8T. That really put Eurocode on the map for making some fast b6s at a good price. Weren't some people making upwards of 380 to 400chp on race gas?

Yes that would be Greg and Charlie, both own the cars that I ran plenty of times at the track to really put the B6 Elim kits in the spot light.

Only a few days have passed. Relax. I'm sure they are still working out the file for the ECU. Give it another week. Things don't happen like lightning.

Nick at REVO didn't get back till Tuesday so he really couldn't get started on the file till that day or weds, plus Mike told me there was no way he would be able to get back to Eurocode till the end of the week anyway since his days are pretty busy with school. We will let you guys know when the file gets flashed into the car. I have also talked with Mike and once we are able to get a clutch on the car it will then go on the dyno to see what type of power it is putting down and do any slight tweaks to the file if its needed.

The revo file was requesting around 2500mbars but the car wouldn't give anything past 1300mbar and only 1800mbar at 6krpm. I'm pretty sure n75 is shot so I've ordered one and will have to wait until I can swap it out to give you better numbers. I'm tracking the thread and will give those interested more info as soon as I get the car running right.
