    Hey guys.

I have a 2004 usp with 19" VMR's thanks to a fellow AZ'er selling them to me. i have the stock USP springs. I want to drop it alittle more but do not want to rub. What would you guys recomend spring wise? If i have to will drop the money for a set of Coilovers but i want to see if i can get away with a good set of springs.

I just got on my Neuspeed sport springs, the drop is nice, less than 1 finger gap in the rear and about 1 up front... the ride isnt the best though...

you will definitely not regret coilovers. (the difference between a kmart mountain bike and a kona). stasis or kw or bilsteins or teins. cant really go wrong.

H&R springs are the lowest if you think you dont want to go coilovers. But you should just save a little for the adjustability.

There are always springs for sale in the classifieds. That being said the coils are the way to go if you can swing it, adjustability ftw!

Just cut your springs and call it good. If you just do springs without proper dampers it is going to ride poorly anyways. Coilovers is honestly the best bet overall.

kind of hard to tell from the pic, but what are the gaps above the wheels? are the fenders covering the tires? i want about a 1 finger gap all around on my car and was thinking of getting this setup (since my tax returns ended up being little to none, coilovers are now out).

Cut the springs???? That is not a good idea and dangerous at that... better to do it right the first time and not f-up your car or you self in the process...

Buy proper dampers if you upgrade your springs.
