    Motorola V60 Handsfree integration on a B7

Im want to integrate a motorola V60 phone to my B7. Currently i have the cradle and phone from an 2005 A8L (which i don't think it will work).

I've been looking on the forum and on google the wiring and all the results are coming back for old models. I have no problem integrating a different phone (I don't want bluetooth) I just want to be able to use the button on the steering wheel of my A4.

As per the 2006 Audi catalog for parts, the part number for the cradle is 8E0 051 434 A. but I they don't come with instructiosn on how to install it and i don't want o give 250 bucks to the dealer so they can spend 20 minutes on the installation.

    Any ideas?

    I need help.

So do you lack the bluetooth module because I don't see how you can integrate your cell phone into the car without it. Also why use a cradle when you can have bluetooth wireless and keep a 12v handy when you need to charge?

I was thinking that it could just wire everything. On the A8L everything was prewired, but on mine its not.

So far the bluetooth integrations that i've seen have a bunch of restrictions. Like the parrot for example, it's not compatible with my motorola Q9m. The other thing is that you have to place the bluetooth module in the dash which for me looks ugly.

It's not personal is just that i want to use the button on the steering wheel. It seems that noone has done it before so i might be the first one.

haha i miss the V60 i had. It was nice cause it was small for a flip phone. But if your car has Bluetooth already installed, all you do is enable the bluetooth on your phone, search area, and it should say somthing like "audi hands free. . ." etc. . . and thats it really. If you phone has bluetooth, it'll connect to the car. No need for the cradle unless your trying to recharge. I just keep my phone in my pocket now that i have the bluetooth enabled.

Or. . . Check and see if theirs just a simple install for the BlueTooth module on your vehicle and if it's already pre-wired. I would be supprised if it weren't pre-wired but you never know Audi. I would first look into that before going after market junk sir.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look more into this bluetooth device, and check if its possible to get a decent aftermarket or oem bluetooth module.

Ok, Im back because i found a video on you tube with a young lady using a bluetooth device that adapts to the v60 cradle on audi's.

The device is for bmw's but its compatible with the audi, im thinking on getting this BTUM (Bluetooth Upgrade Module) and I will post the results here.
