    Help identify hoes...

Hey guys. I've got oil all over my engine bay. I first thought it was coming from my dip stick tube but it wasnt. My number 2 hose in this picture broke. Does anyone know what this part is called? It's under the intake manifold and it's really tight down there. Does the manifold have to be removed to get to this? Thanks.

Thanks Jon. I was looking at it last night and it's looking like I've got to drain the coolant, remove the coolant tube on top of the manifold, remove the fuel rail and manifold to get to it.

You guys are awesome. Thanks guys.

Eddie, I wasn't getting any response so I changed the title from "help... leaking oil" to "help identify hoes" and to my amazement I've gotten 4 replies already.

    Re: Help identify hoes...

well that redirects to the air intake to recirculate the crank case gases You may have a slight error reading on the maf but it's so small that prob the computer won't even pick that up..Other than that you may have oil fumes under the hood that can possibly go in the car when the blower is on...

I looked at the diagram and couldn't find the hose I was looking for. I don't think my problem is a vacuum issue. Thanks anyways.

    Re: Help identify hoes...

I called Audi and they said that the #2 hose is called a "pipe" on ETKA. The part number is 06A103213F.

I just thought I'd throw this out here just in case someone else is wondering what the #2 hose is called.
