correct, the unibody is reinforced in several places over the lancer, then from there, everything else changes...all body panels are different (again, i think the door skins are the same), all control arms are aluminum, drivetrain (obviously), lightweight glass, aluminum roof, steering rack, interior...blah, blah... virtually none of the parts are interchangable between the two cars.

and an RS4 is an A4 with a v8 and recaro seats...like the neon...

Actually no, on the street, a correctly modded evo will walk those 'dyno queens' all day, they just can't put down all that power. The evo responds so well to modification, and can consistanly put that power to the ground. The track is a bit of an equalizer, but those 800hp cars still have trouble chasing after a 1.5-1.6 60ft
I really don't feel like starting this argument, so I'll stop here and get back on topic... I'm getting defensive since I had one back in 04, and 11sec timeslips to go along with it. Aside from maybe the skyline, the evo is the king of the street...

To get back on topic, I agree!! A car as heavy as the A4 shouldn't be able to keep up, mad props on that...
