I'll admit your s4 is rare because of the mileage. I understand that it also comes with an extra set of wheels and some mods. But 18 o.b.o would be well, not FIRM. You can pick up and S4 with 7x,xxx miles from the auction for 11 grand if not less. Add some pics because maybe I'm missing something. Does it have suede seat inserts???

sale pending... There is a market for enthusiasts that are looking for clean low mileage b5's. My car is solid,mechanically perfect. I bought it with 20k miles. Not like some of the cars that u find in the auctions. My price is right on par for what its worth, especially with the mods it has. and no it does not have suede inserts. So how is my car overpriced?

People prefer cars with no mods....Mods usually mean the car had been beat on. And don't tell me you don't push your car to the max. Im sorry that you have had a couple of bad months. Go look at the kbb value of the car, take that as a base price and work with whats done with the car. I already have interest in my sale, so I dont know why I am even replieng to you. So a person who buys a clean rare low mileage stage2 s4 for 15k is a dumb slum? Some have a house and doesn't have time to work on it. Some have a nagging thing called WIFE, who hates you spend money on cars. And others just to lazy to mod it.

I am looking for an S4 B5 (2001.5). In all honesty a car w/ mods is not very sought after. I suppose if you buy a modded S4 from someone who doesn't beat on their car, that would be fine; ultimately you are relying on what a stranger telling you about their driving habbits when they are looking to sell you something. Modded S4's are a dice roll, stock ones are for the most part/with few exceptions, sure things. As far as the recession goes, the echonemy being down, peoples investments going from 5.4% to 2.9%, and not being able to buy a mother f*cking CD with better than 3% interest... yeah, just give it time; people will catch on soon enough that selling things for their worth just got more expensive. As for KBB Value, well they simply over price that shit like CRAZY! I am convinced that auto makers pay KBB to up their estimates...

Kelley Blue-Book: $20,095 (Way High)
Nada Used Car Guide: $16,275 (About Right)

Its not just that... its a roll of a dice on a used AND modded audi. Don't get me wrong Audi is my favorite brand of cars, but reliabilty is not their strong point. Couple that with the fact that parts cost an arm and a leg for these cars and its tough to justify paying top dollar on one unless your 100% sure its in great shape. Otherwise you are looking to spend dollars hand over fist in a day an age where dollars are scarce and weak.

You guys have to remember one thing that differ us enthusiast from normal cars at time. We take care of our shit because we simply hated the fact we have to put up with broke shit. You'll have better chance with a car that nicely done vs one you see at Carmax. Here's a few things we enthusiast notice:

1)Paint. (If car is 7 years old and paint looks newer than 08. That mofo loves his fucking car. Unless that sucker been into 10 Accident and got a repaint; more likely you'll see flaw)

2)Wheels. (If there's no curb on it. Again, that mofo loves his fucking car AND wheels)

3)Engine. (If the engine sound like a 1998 Grand Am with no muffler, then backfired when shut off. That mofo don't love it, but if it sound like heaven. You know what's up)

There should be a rule on here that these kind of posts result in an account ban, which has been working for a lot of other automotive forums (supraforums for example).
