chrome window trim

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick up the chrome window trim? (like on the 3.0s I think) I love the look of it compared to the black. Thanks for any help!

My guess would be from the dealer. I'm also in the same boat as you, i want chrome window trim.

do a search, some people want to switch from chrome to black (like me), and others wanna go the other way...

either way, the trim is pretty $$, and so is the labor supposedly... a few peeps have done it...

Some days I dislike mine, others I think it matches well with the other chrome accents, IE the grille trim, Audi Rings, ect. I think it all balances out well, but with my tinted windows some days I think it ruins the flow and I would prefer black, other days I like the contrast and think it looks cool and breaks up the all black look. I am too in-decisive to ever black it out, esp since it is an expensive option. What do you think of the look? Excuse the ghetto winter mode steelies in these three pics....








I think some chrome S4 mirror caps would make it look nicer and flow better overall, but I think for the hell of it I will try a quick photochop of what it would look like blacked out, I will post the picture when I am done...

Well I just did a quick hack job on the last picture...I did body color trim, not black, since it was too much of a PITA, I think it looks pretty good, it flows a bit better, but again I like the contrast of the chrome. I don't know I could never make up my mind on this!

i'm in the same undecided boat, some days i wish i had black, come days i like my chrome. i was wondering if anyone ever taped it off and plasti-dipped it the way we black out our grills.....it seems like it should work. anyone try this?

If you search, this topic has been thoroughly discussed, there is a tape you can buy and put on over your existing trim for cheap.
