stage 1+ questions

yea i know it may be a noob question but I'm not looking to go BT. I would maybe like to go K04 eventually. But with the APR Stage 1+ are there any other upgrade that will be needed other than the injectors? Will I have a boost gain? (its not a more powerful turbo but what do I know when Im asking questions like these) and if so will I need a new DV?

I know you can switch between programs but if you switch to a stock program does it take into account that you have bigger injectors? I guess the same question applies to the K04 upgrade.

Youll need, Cat Back exhaust and diverter alongside the injectors.
You will have a big boost gain. Thats the point of the chip. The stock mode simply detunes everything while running the same injectors to what stock boost would be like.

Couple of things. No matter what software 1+ you do you will need injectors at a bare minimum. There are a few suggested additions. A full turbo back exhaust w/ either a high flow cat or a test pipe will free up the back pressure from the turbo and help smooth out your powerband. Next for safety you will need a intercooling upgrade, whether it be an upgraded SMIC, DSMIC or a FMIC, you pick. This is to keep the car run safely during the summer and consistantly. A new upgraded Turbo Inlet pipe will help with spool. You will probably want to replace your spark plugs when you are at it, possibly with a -1 heat range. When you do this replacing the coilpacks would be a goo idea. Oh and an upgraded DV, the OEM 710N is fine. All of these items you will be able to use with the K04 or with the K03 1+ files.

honestly you can just get the flash alone but dont get stock programming, you will never ever use it! but if you dont support it right, you will have too much back pressure, your cat could burn up, your IATs will be so hot, your car will be slower than stock, your TIP will collapse and other fun stuff so

get exhaust and test pipe/high flow cat
upgraded intercooler is a MUST! my intake air temps hit 170 without it, now they dont get more than 10 above ambient
my stock TIP collapses at higher speeds
