Replaced my MAF because of the signal too low code. Still get the code after clearing it multiple times.

Should I get another maf or is there something else i should look at.

    Re: Maf problems

Wires? I had an issue with my MAF and it turned out to be bad wires. I had turned my MAF about 90 degrees for an intake setup and it had put a lot of stress on the wires and eventually led to a failure. I talked to the dealer and it seemed like a pain in the ass to get a replacement harness - wasn't plug and play and was like $30 or $40 and a lot of work. I just got a junkyard to lop off as much of a harness from a junker as they could and they charged me $10. It's been working just fine for 8 months now.

My airbox is stock but I am leaning towards the wires as well. I was hoping a quick swap would solve it. will probably order up a new maf local too. the one i bought was from ecs and they don't do exchanges of mafs. I wish i knew that before i spent my money there
