After all that work, how come you decided against throwing some rods in there? All else aside it seems like it would at least be cheap security.

I'm not touching the heads, they will remain bone stock maybe at the very most 2.8 cams that i have laying around thats it... I'm not a track guy nor am I trying to build a race car, once tired of the car or until i break something then it will get built but for now just wish to play around and have some fun......

Nothing gets welded here without purging haha.. The bi-pipes have no welds in them just the one for the diverter nipple, the pipes where pressure tested at 200psi...

I just got back all my piping from the mandrel bender along with my bi-pipes everything is ceramic coated like i mentioned above, this will hopefully keep the heat down a bit... cm4 with the 034 steel single mass flywheel, Greg will supply me with the tune... I will post all the turbo components for my build soon....

im waiting for my new bi pipes also its amazing how constrictive the stock bi pipes really are. I hope these will open up some flow for me at top end.

Hey bud, i was to send you a pm but maybe more than me wil face this problem. I have same stype piping than yours that connects to a Samco TBB. My problem is by changing to a 75mm throttle boby, I'M fu&ked, the boot wont fit anymore.

    Have any suggestions ?

Re: Starting my GT build this week finally

So did we ever come to a general consensus on if we want the uppipes to conduct and dissipate heat because of their location with airflow going over them, or do we want them to be well insulated because the heat of the air after flowing through the radiator is greater than the air in the pipes after the intercooler? I don't think it was ever clearly resolved one way or another.

If your running a larger T.B then stocker then the Bi-pipes isn't the problem you will face it's the Boot like you mentioned.. If i had this problem and I don't I would simply merge the bi-pipes into 1 at the T.B and run a single coupler, this very simple for anyone who can weld...

Guys this isn't a Bi-pipe thread, I was simply showing the progress of my build, please lets keep the thread on topic before it gets locked for not following the rules.. Thanks
