    Vibration at idle

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My 03' 1.8T Avant has a rough idle. The roughness goes away when the engine revs slightly above idle and the rest of the power band. So far the car has had new coil packs installed and new motor mounts.

I've had an independent shop look the car over and my dealership. No codes pull from the ECU and the VAG computer cannot find any functions out of range.

    Help...

    Re: Vibration at idle

x2 i need to change my plugs right now, so i am also experiencing some misfire/ rough idle.

also what would you guys subjest running? every1 tells me to put the same spark plugs as i take out, but they cost like 50$ lol so im just going to go with the ngk coppers instead of the aridium. is that ok?

    Re: Vibration at idle

Plugs were done about 3000 miles ago. Using Denso iridium's. They did not help with the vibration.
