2 wiper blade sizes for better performance?

I can't wrap my head around whether this would work... For those of you who have the silicone or newer single blade style wiper blades (Reflex, Bosch)... do you get that little inch or two of passenger side windshield that never gets cleaned due to the curve in the window? (outside windshield edge nearest the pass side mirror).

I have two cars I am going to by blades for this week end... was thinking, what if I bought 1 size smaller for the passenger side? Would the shorter blade do a better job of the lower window edge that the long blade can't wrap around? Obviously it is cleaning less area, but will it clean that outer area a little better?

i have the same problem, but i have noticed that on some cars the pass. side blade is curved a bit, my car had that when i bought it, but in theory it would work. I have a 21 on the driver side and a 20 on the pass side. But if it does work let me know cause it annoys the shit out of me to.

You say you've seen a bend in some... do you mean like people are cranking it a little on the end? If it was the brand, I'd buy something else, but I see all of them do it.

I think that's just an illusion, mine look like that when they are on.

The normal wipers tend to get that spot alot better... the internal spring wipers will usually miss it. The OE aero wipers dont miss a single spot... they have a stronger spring in the arm as well as in the blade... makes for a great combo!

I understand your theroy... and the only way to know would be to try it out. I use a longer than oe wiper on my driver side (22") and OE on the stock size on the passenger.
