    Aftermarket stereo ?'s

    Hey all, just picked up an '04 A4 Ultrasport yesterday and figured I would pop my forum cherry with a stereo question... I have the Bose system but want to put in an Alpine HU and a sub/amp. I have heard the rear speakers won't work with an aftermarket HU... any advice?

    i have a 03 with an aftermarket kenwood HU. My rear door speakers work fine.

    what you heard was a rumor.. the rear speakers DO work with after market hu's

    I have an eclipse HU. My rear speakers work but they are extremely quite. is there are reason for this?
