Awesome 19" VMR RS4 Wheels

Hey guys, I live in Socal, I just went to my tire guy, he scored me a deal, $1300.00 got me a set of VMR RS4 wheels matte black wrapped in 235/35/19 PZERO NEROS. Everyone onlines selling the same stuff for 1500 with retarded tires. I told him i would see if anyone else is down. Awesome deal. that is mount and balance. if anyone outside of state wants it they can pay shipping. PM me for more info. He also told me that he can get them in silver too.

matte black? I believe VMR only sells the RS4 reps in onyx black and gunmetal for the darker finishes. I'm be down for the deal if they were really VMR wheels in gunmetal.

your right as far as what finishes VMR makes them, they dont offer it in matte black, but ima wait till i paint them matte black with the rest of my car, im gonna get them onyx black for now though. Only thing im worried about is whether my car is going to rub or not, i got neuspeed race springs on.

I dont know but we will see on tuesday or wednesday, he ordered silvers and tuesday the onyx blacks come tuesday or wednesday. Anyways what do you guys think onyx black or gunmetal on a quartz grey?

onyx black are sick in general but they are almost guaranteed to flake (however vmr replaces for free within the first year, just a pain)

I may be interested... I was about to order these from VMR or a local shop. I'm in SoCal. Can you please share your shop's info if possible (via PM). I actually want 18's in Onyx Black but am slightly concerned about the flaking issue. I spoke with VMR on Friday and they claim that it is/was mostly due to people using harsh wheel cleaners. They say that you are only supposed to wash them with soap and water. In addition, they supposedly have made some changes to the application/paint process which is supposed to have cured some of the early issues that people were having with these wheels...

Sweet deal, I'm definitely interested as well, but still having trouble deciding if I want gunmetal (I'm assuming that's what you mean by matte black) or onyx black. Do the gunmetals not have the flaking problems that the onyx do? Also, how much to ship to Seattle area (98077)?

They are gunmetal. VMR doesn't have ANY Onyx Black and if they are I'll be pissed since I called over 3 weeks ago and they didn't have any. They did however have Gun Metal in 19" so I'm sure that's what he got.

I spoke on friday with my tire guy, I wanted the Onyx black, he told me they were out of stock and would have more on Monday, they received a container load last week and have it available to ship out on Monday or Tuesday. He has ordered four sets, lets see what happens, I can check on 18's for you tomorrow. They make three finishes off of what i remember, silver, gunmetal, and oynx black.

19" Onyx Black will not be available until May 15th, 2008. My snow tires will be chunked to hell by they get them ship,them and I mount. Time to start looking at other alternitives.

Ill clear up some confusion. Our V708's are offered in HS, GM, & Onyx finishes only. They are only 8.5" wide in both 18" and 19" versions. Right now we only have the 18" +38 V708's GM in stock. Stock on all other colors and sizes are estimated mid May. If you look at modbargains.com they list the 19's for $699 a set. I bought mine direct from VMR and they honored the $699 after I talked my way into it. Don't buy the caps from VMR or the dealership. I bought all 4 on ebay for $4 with $15 shipping out of Japan. As far as tires go i went with the new Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season's 235/35/ZR19 and they are sick as hell. They are going to last me longer than any other tire that I could buy, they look mean, they ride awesome, they grip really well, and in rain I don't even question my traction.

Tire Rack has these tires for only $172

After everything i paid $1500 but didnt pay any tax.

Hey guys, sorry for the late response, business has been nuts after china, just fulfilling orders all day. I know you guys know velocity motorsports, they didnt have my set which was the last one and they basically told me the last one was picked up by a guy that had put a deposit down. So, i have ten sets coming in on may15th. FYI this is only going to be for silver and gunmetal, on there shipment they raised the prices on onyx black cause they are having issues. Only one year warranty for original purchase so honestly guys Silver and gunmetal only. I will have ten sets in my hand on the 16th mount and balanced ready to ship at the UPS store so my zip code is 91364 check and see how much it is to send the wheels to you guys. Another thing, my car is SIIIIICCCKKK, But im not posting pix cause it look gay with out wheels. Please guys let me know what you guys wanna do.
