The DRL's should be off when you have your e-brake pulled.

Engaging the E-brake is always a good idea when you park, and this will solve the DRL issues as well.

karmad, I'm Canadian too. Maybe the e-brake detect wire is not working. Does it give you the e-brake warning on the dash when its engaged?

evilgabbie, I *like* people having DRLs. It seems common sense to turn on your headlights at dusk/dawn isn't so common. Anything that makes me more visible in big-ass truck praries is a benefit IMO.

My fogs and tails are on as soon as the ignition is on. I think it's normal on our cars. You can change Country as evilgabbie said, and they will be off...always. You need to manually turn them on with the light stalk. One click up.

edit: Why would you want your lights off when you remote start? People are less likely to break into a car that is running. It's not like your doors will be unlocked.
