Xenon/BiXenon/eCodes Question

In my quest to learn more about the options for my S4, in my research of the headlight options, had a couple questions:

Do the S4s come with the Xenons standard, are they single Xenon or BiXenons (is this an available option?), can you go from Xenon to BiXenon with only the housings? Or in other words, if you have Xenon, and someone is selling BiXenon ecodes, is there an issue there?

b6 s4 comes stock with single xenon and you can upgrade to bixenon...i am not sure about the ecode question..

I thought 04 B6 came w/ single xenons and 05 B6 came w/ the bi-xenons...

mine is an '05 and I'm pretty sure it has aftermarket Bi-Xenons, since they are black housings.

My 05 has bi-xenons so 05 was the change

So, can an 04 buy the aftermarket bixenon ecodes and not have an issue? Is it only a housing with a larger lens or something else...?

from the looks of it, the connector is the same, but I have no idea if you can swap them straight out. The housing is completely different between the two.
