navigation question

searched for the answer to this with no success...

i'm in the market for a b7 a4 and have been looking around. i looked at one the other day that had the color screen between the rpm gauge and speedo but did not have navigation; does this mean that navigation was originally installed but then removed? i wonder because i haven't seen another navigation-less b7 that had the color screen.

That color screen in the middle is part of the tech package. This is an option independent of the nav. The tech package included a few things including bluetooth, xenon, the color display, and enhanced trip information (exact features included varies from year to year).
