    So i blew my current power steering pump and pulled the pump from my extra engine, same engine code (AEB) and same year car. When i looked at the two pumps they look much different and the functioning one doesnt look like it will fit on my other AEB engine. Did Audi use two different style PS pumps on their cars??????? [O_O]

    audi used various ps racks, which are not compatible with each other so it could be they have different pumps for each rack. makes sense to me but i dont know for sure

    I've had a couple pumps on my 99.5 and they all looked the same.

    this is so annoying! i was hoping i wouldn't have to pay for a new pump, but the two pumps are definitely different. so confusing
