Im gonna remove my engine.. few questions

So, next wednesday I take my car to Audi service where they take my cars engine off with gearbox and all other stuff. Main reason is my faulty gearbox (that 1st and 2nd gear bullsh**) and they said that whole engine with gearbox are easier to remove than only gearbox. Im agree with that because my engine mounts need to be replaced anyway. And my questions is that what other parts i should check up or change if my engine is out of the car? I know you all say now that go to Stage 3 but I dont have this money right now TOO BAD! First things that comes to my mind are some gaskets and cleaning the downpipes. But what else? And remember I dont have much money right now

If you could somehow get it buy they do your piggies but I'd doubt they would reinstall them but who knows I would check all your hoses and lines as well as possible your tb if you haven’t changed it yet.

Well your removing your cats and tricking the system into thinking it has cats that cut down on emissions, and I wouldn't think that an Audi dealer would install down pipes that aren't stock. Also, tb= timing belt. Depending on your mileage I would suggest getting it replaced along with your water pump while you have the motor out

Okay, I know that the timing belt is changed but not the water pump. I know all persons who work in that Audi dealership, so no problems. What else I have to look or change?

not really, disconnect front axle shafts, rear exhaust, engine speed sensor, and shift linkage. its pretty easy actually

Damn, I cant wait it, just 2 days but I cant I broke my gearbox real bad now, saturday night, when streetracing some guys Now i even havent that place where the 1st and 2nd gear should be

Holy crap at your motor mounts!!! Might want to pressure wash your motor off (obviously cover electronics and fragile stuff)
