Interest Gauge: Who would be interested in an E85 tune/kit from EPL, JHM or the like?

    Benefits:
-105-ish octane rating (Daily Race Gas)
    -Cooler running
-Maybe cheaper than pump (definitely cheaper than comparable race gas)
    -Much more aggressive tune potential
    -Cleaner (pass with test pipes?)

    Drawbacks:
    -Less MPG

Percentage of "less" mpg we might be getting in normal driving? Sounds like a great kit if the ppg/mpg equals less than the ppg/mpg we're getting now.

Well depending on the tune you'll get about 15-30% less gas mileage (most likely around 25%) The ppg/mpg however is dependent on the price of E85 locally, as it varies quite a bit by region. Here in Utah E85 is like ~$3.05 IIRC, and premium is around $3.40, but the point for me with the E85 is the performance. With an octane rating of ~105, we should be comparing apples to apples and compare it to race gas (which for me locally is almost $6/ga for 100oct). So does the price make it worth it to run it over normal premium, maybe, but I'm just looking to run race gas daily at $3/ga
