Anyone fitted 255/35/19 on B7 A4 ??

Hello Boys,

I'm getting a set of 19" wheels 9"ET42 fronts and 9.5"ET42 rears. I am trying to decide what tire size would work best on the car, have anyone tried 255/35/19 all around? I know the rears should fit okay without rubbing but the fronts may be tight.

So anyone who have tried these sizes or have good recommendation on tire sizes for these rims; input would be appreciated. I know this is gonna be tight and to the extreme side but I think that's what most of us are after...

Only size we can guarantee is 245/35R19 (XL) .

this may be a dumb question, but what is "XL" ? is this something that is needed when choosing a tire for the B7? thx

XL is RF is reinforced sidewall which we need to carry enough load on the tire to be safe. A standard load tire should not have enough load capacity to work

so a RF is ok to have, instead of XL?
