    Wet Headliner.... is this common??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    I have a 2002 A4 1.8t

This morning i get in, shut the door and water drips from that area near the lights and sunfoof knob right onto my shifter..... not happy. The headliner is very wet and extends across under my visors. It is dryier near the winshield and up next to the sunroof. The floor is dry.

The winsheild was replaced about 2 years ago, and i havent had any problems, so im assuming its a sunroof seal.

I was just wondering if its a common problem or advice from anything anyone else has had to help me find this leak.

as a side note, my car did decide to close the sunroof on its own yesterday, is it possible that it jsut didnt close all the way, or opened a crack?

Mine developed a leak along the passenger side rear headliner area and it turned out to be a drainage tube for the sunroof that had come loose. All replaced under CPO warranty after about 2 weeks without my car

The winshield guy was in to fix another car at my work today. He was nice enough to take a look at it. He showed me where to find the hoses to spray them out, if that doesnt work he said its a bad seal on the winsheild, but most likely not, he said i would have had that problem prior to now

There is a recall for this issue. I have the same car, haven't had that problem but just had the recall service done.
