New guy, few Q's

Hey guys I'm new round hurr I had a few questions about my TT. I totally searched but couldn't find anything on these.

1. How can I tell whether I have a 225hp or 180hp? I heard the 225's had the V8 and the 180's had the 5 cylinder but wanted to make sure.
2. Can I run a blow off valve? I really like the sound of my buddy's HKS-SSQV on his WRX it sounds proppa tyte.
3. What kinda lowering springs should I buy? I'm wantin to slam my car but not have to buy new shocks cuz I dont feel like it.
4. Yo I heard chips give you a turbo boost or somethin. Where can I get one?
5. My front end creaks, does that mean I need nu tirez?
6. I tried powerbreaking yesterday to impress my friend who rolls an M3 but it didnt work. How do you guys powerbreak your car?
7. What should I look out for when buying a TT? I already bought one but figured I should know for when I wreck this one.

I would like to put suspension/wheels on my TT someday, but somehow I'd just rather put $2000 towards acquiring my other automotive interest (I'm sure you sympathize with the japanese inclination ;) ):

first question answered: 225 has two exhaust tips. 180 has one.

I just read this again, you should pop the hood and see how many cylinders you have in there.

OOO! OOO! I got it!!! I have a five cylinder



Or rather it's ye olde ATC code motor sporting a simple chip, forge 007 and boost controller. Managed to beat a 225QR on the highway :)
