Re: Keeping track of speed traps

If ur a serious speeder, get a scanner,V-1,and along routes you take often write down any and every place the cops can hide by the Mile point sign to the tenth of a mile. Seems retarded to write em all down and read em off as u go,but the one time u forget, theres no one around and the cops shooting laser your payin out the wazoo in court costs and insurance. Worked for me for the last 6 years.

yeah, that satellite view is nice, but they don't even have the most extreme speedtrap in the US on that site. Rosendale, WI is considered the worst speedtrap in the US, the cops will pick you up for going 1-2 over, no joke. especially around EAA time (it's near oshkosh) and there's a lot of traffic, that's how the town makes its revenue. if you even start accelerating before the 30-55 sign, AT ALL, the po-po will stop you. gas stations threre even have t-shirts for how bad it is there.

this should be pretty cool once its working...

A new "Speed Trap Sharing System," going by the uninspired name of "Trapster," offers live updates of local speed traps (as reported by users) sent to a free smartphone program as well as your Google MyMaps account. You can report speedtraps anonymously, and receive mobile alerts when you drive near a reported trap, possibly giving you a drop on Johnny Law

Re: Keeping track of speed traps

do you realize how outdated many of those speedtrap listings are? I've gone through the Colorado ones several times and many of the ones listed are non-issues are reported wrong.

that and they don't always use the same spots. they use rotations to trick people out. one day they'll be there, the other they'l be somewhere completely else
