Re: Carmel World class driving event this sat

Let me start off by saying WOW! this was an amazing experience and they took us on a great drive through carmel valley

    Video will come soon

I will do a quick review of the cars I got to be in.

First, was the ferrari f430: First thing I noticed when I sat down was how tight of a squeeze the interior is. The sound was amazing and it was really cool being able to look back and see the engine behind your head pretty damn badass. Sound was amazing shifting was quick and even quicker in race mode.. Unfortunatly this was our first car and after the briefing and also the fact that it was the last car and was followed by the owner we did not get to push it to limit. This was my dissapointment

Second my stepdad was in the Ferrari 599 GTB: This was was utterly refined and was his Top choice of the day. I didn't get to ride in this one because the fact it's a 500,000 doller car an instructor has to ride along. But damn this car was by far the sexiest of them all and the v12 sound was music to my ears.

Third was the brand new Callaway C16- This car is a 620hp supercharged corvette and does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. I thought the car was very nice looking on the exterior but the typical Gm interior parts was non-impressive, but the hood scoop was pretty badass. On the road this car was very fast and we punched the hell out of this thing haha it really throws u back in your seat. Engine looked sweet too

Fourth was the Lambo Gallardo Superlleggera: This by far was the car that was the most fun. This car is a fuckin beasttt!! It felt like it had the most raw power and drove like it, really rough at times. The brakes on this thing were just insane you can press lightly until a certain point and once you hit that point it's immediate intense braking power.. Think i got a little whiplash trying to get used to these brakes. This car felt like it was just begging to be taken out on the track and carbon fiber everywhere which was damn sexy. They call this one the "bad boy" of the pack. Felt the fastest of all of them AMAZING WOWWOWOW

Last was the Porshe 911 Turbo Cab: This was a fun car to end the day in rollin with the top down. It somewhat reminded me of my car hence the turbos, awd, and tiptronic but wayyy faster of course. I have to say it felt nice to get back in a german car very fun and pretty damn fast convertable was cool. The whole time I was trying to imagine this car with some tuning and mods I just can't imagine it would be insane

    NOW THE PICS:
    The fleet
