Just wanted to post a video of the Capristo system for the R8. Capristo is well known in the Ferrari exhaust world and we are the dealer/distributor for our region and wanted to share this video of their offerings for the R8. They've finally expanded their market beyond just Ferrari and have taken on Porsche, Lambo, and even now Audi with their R8 and S5 exhausts being the first Audis theyve touched.

I havent received much info from Capristo on the system, but I've asked for all the details of the system and should have some answers for you soon.

The system seems to come with valves and some sort of electronic box. Hmmmm verrry interesting. From what I can tell the craftsmanship is outstanding. Did you see the R8 laser cut logo in the exhaust mounts? Impressive. My guess is it is at least 6 thousand bucks. Lets see what they say. I certainly want one.

The Capristo exhaust system is as well made as any exhaust system in the world. I know them thru years with Porsches. The system has a programmable remote control that allows you to set the exhaust valves to the full deep loud, deep, expansive exhaust sound, or to a quieter level, more like the stock R8 exhaust, without any resonance or drone sound. This valve system can be both programmed or used manually at any time, thru the remote control. The system is completely reliable and has been tested and used regularly for years with both Ferrari and Porsche. The system in the USA sells for about $5000 USD. Prices do differ a little with the different Capristo dealers. It is a more expensive system, but I suggest that you search different forums for the customer satisfaction reports with the system. I also suggest that you search Milltek as to cat failures. Bon Chance
