Sorry, I stay away from these jobs. I attempted the Tip Wheel mod on my B5 A4 several years ago and it was a mess. But, that being said, totally different job because of the wiring needed. If yours is truly plug and play, then it should be simple. If the tools are the same as for my job, I'd even let you borrow my tools, I'm just going nowhere near it. The airbag, at least on my A4 was not an issue at all. It literally unplugged and pulled out. Nothing to it. The issue you need to confirm before attempting the job is that whatever wiring harness you have currently in your car for your existing wheel will work for the new wheel that you've bought. Don't make the assumption that it is the exact same wiring. Do your planning beforehand and it will pay off. You should be able to call a parts shop and explain to them what you are doing and they should be able to check and confirm that the wiring harnesses are compatible.
