    1997 2.8 liter seafoam question w/ pic

Ok well i have searched plenty on a few forums and cant get a clear picture of description of finding the right vacume line to suck seafoam into my intake for cleaning out the top end. If someone can take the time and show me from the pics i took which lines i can use that would help me out a lot. I would like to be able to suck it into from 2 places at once using a T line so i can get it evenly into my cylinders. I am making this thread just to be sure i dont mess up and get seafoam sucked into like my break system or something worse. 2nd pic if a pic of the break booster line, would that work? Thanks guys.

I did mine last week..There is a large tube that go's into the intake under where the coil pack mount is..Thats where I found the spot to do it. The tube is large diameter..I just put a tube onto the barb and ran it into the can. Worked out great!

ok so its actually under where the plug wires meet up with the coil packs. in front of the engine bay?

I am doing this in a few days, so the seafoam is sucked into the purge valve?

Re: 1997 2.8 liter seafoam question w/ pic

    Youtube instuction vid 1
    Youtube instruction vid 2
Website instructions that should be on bottle

As the guy states in the second vid, you do not submerge the hose fully into the bottle(or whatever you choose to use) with the seafoam. You monitor it and slowly let it seep into the hose into manifold (for us 1.8t guys it is the manifold). And as you seafoam, the throttle might choke a little and may cut off (or get to the point of wanting to). I can not recall at what RPMs to keep it at, but is is good to have a freind keeping it at that level. You use half the bottle for the manifold (with hose), the other half you throw into the crank case. And you put a full bottle into the gas tank. Let all the smoke clear (I do not know this process). Then immediately get an oil change as the seafoam will thin it out. Others say you can run up to 500 miles or so afterwards, but don't chance it. Do it right away.

*disclaimer-I have never done this myself, so any and all attempts at seafoam by my instructions I or Audizine shall not be held liable
