new IPOD adapter?

I built an 08 A4 on the audi web site and saw this snazy looking ipod dock / thingie... anyone pickone up yet? or know the part number for this bad boy?

Mine has that same thing but without the lock... what's the lock for? It also comes with plastic dock adapters for the different sizes of ipods. The most important thing - the interface - sucks.

Don't get it. Trust us, it blows. If you can, get the nav and have access to the sd slots.

Ah. mine appears to have a butt sensor cause it says Passenger AB off when no one is sitting there.

i think the interface on the whole navi sucks but thats JMHO..

I'm surprised there is an airbag disable... considering in in all states front driver and front passengers are required by law.

My A4 has a sensor too, but you might have junk sitting in your seat.

My TT had that key disable for the airbag, but no butt sensor. I guess it is handy if you never have a passenger, because if you do get into an accident you won't waste an airbag and cause more damage (replacing the whole dash).

Or... if you want to seriously injure someone you can purposely hit something head on when them sitting next to you with the airbag off... heh heh heh

yes but they recommend turning them off for children or little people
