    I drive a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T, FWD.

Hey guys, I've never had to get any body work done so I've no idea what kind of ball park figure I'm going to be looking at. The car is in perfect running condition now, better than before the wreck, actually. >.< I just need to take care of the cosmetics. There is a very small bit of frame damage that doesn't affect alignment that will need to be repaired as well (Photos one, seven, and nine).

Here are some really high res photos, they'll take a minute to load. I'll compress them and re-upload when I get home if y'all want, but for the sake of detail and an accurate estimate the higher resolution may be preferable.

The fog lights are just floating in theie sockets (Photo 5), btw- damage from before I owned the vehicle. x.x I've yet to jerry rig something to keep them fixed. Also the fiberglass on the rear bumper is cracked (Photo 6). Would it be better to get these things repaired or to just throw on new bumpers, side lips, and driver side front fender?

Links to the pictures are way too complicated than they need to be.

Taking so long to download, I gave up.

    Re: Body Damage

hmmm...you could prolly find a shop to fix it for somewhere between 1200-2000...

if I was you....I would take it to a body shop and have all the bodywork done and have them re-spray the whole car...

a body shop will prolly charge you somewhere between 2500-3500 for all bodywork and a new paintjob (not including door jambs)

if I was you I would look into getting a S4 front and S4 sides and then buy a new primed driver side fender on eBay....after you get all the parts, then take it all to a trusted bodyshop...

if you ask around you will eventually find someone who has a friend who owns or works at a bodyshop...eventually you will end up with a good deal...

    Re: Body Damage

Ahw, I was expecting something along those lines for the repair costs, except that seems really cheap for a paint job. For a full body glossy finish wouldn't it be closer to $4,000. Just for the paint? I may be wrong, I was just looking into paint a while back and remember it was really steep...
