You can't search with less than 3 digits.

    So...

    A4, S5, 03, 07, B6, B7, 19, 20 etc are all unsearchable.

Those numbers are all important...really hard to use without it.

you can choose which forum to search e.g. the the 03 A4 forum would be the b6 A4 forum.

I agree.. it makes it hard to search the For Sale section and find specific info on swaybars and wheel sizes!

I totally agree. Make the parameters 2 letter minimum.

Technically, you can search on "S4*" and that will give you everything with S4 in it.

Re: Can we fix the Search function?

and why do we have to wait 30 seconds to search? when i forget all this and search with a word like "a4" and it doesnt let me i want to go fix it but i have to sit there for 30 seconds so i can try again. whats the point of that?
the more people can search the less they post "which chip should i get" haha
VW Touareg V10 TDI. Don't mess.

    Past: Stg. 2+ B7 2.0T, B6 A4 1.8T, Allroad 2.7T 6spd (<-monster), Chevys, Jeeps, and a Nissan.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you, Body kits and decals are how much of a mess you leave on the wall.

Re: Can we fix the Search function?

I'm not certain but waiting the 30 seconds may have something to do with overloading the servers by relentlessly requesting bandwidth in a short amount of time.

I've felt the pain of not being able to use A4 or B7 in my searches. Especially since the most common post on the Audizine forum is "Use the search nOob!" It should be a little more friendly. Nico does have a valid point, choose the forum. But a general search is definitely thwarted by the 3 character minimum.
