Maintenance Care?

Has anybody purchased the Maintenance Care Package for their Audi? Where the Maintenance is paid for like 4 years / 50,000 miles. I believe the price is like $595.00 according to the brochure that came with the car. I called my dealership to purchase but they gave me a price of $650.00 and they informed my that it's non transferable. I might be selling my car soon and thought I would do the next owner a favor and pick it up but if I can't transfer it, then it's not really worth it. What a bogus set up. Don't know if the stealership is pulling my leg. Try to give AUDI a call directly.

Looking at my contracts:

Audi Care Scheduled Maintenance Plan
"Regardless of the scheduled maintenance plan selected, the coverage remains with the vehicle for which it was originally purchased and can be used by the subsequent owner(s). The Audi Care plan is non-transferable to subsequent vehicles purchased by the same owner."

Courtesy Care Mechanical Failure Service Contract
"TRANSFER: YOU may transfer this Service Contract to another owner but not another vehicle. To transfer this Service Contract YOU must mail the following three (3) items to FWS within thirty (30) days of transfer of vehicle ownership: (1) a completed Transfer Form (or a letter containing the name and address of the new owner and YOUR authorization to transfer); (2) a legible copy of the front page of this Service Contract; and (3) a check for $40 payable to FWS, for the transfer fee. This Service Contract may not be transferred to any entity in the business of selling or leasing motor vehicles."
