Who Has Had Their TC Replaced?

Well, I pretty much need to replace my torque converter and was looking to see what you guys had payed to get yours done. I'm asking so when I get some quotes, I know if the shop is trying to stiff me. I also have to decide whether I want to go with Level 10 or 3Zero3.

I don't mean the torque convertor itself. I mean including labor.

Already have been reading through threads involving TC's since I have some saved as bookmarks.

a good shop wont stiff you. how close are you to wicked? i know theyve done some shizzle with TCs.

VAST also does upgraded TC's.

I replaced mine myself so total cost was about $600 including TC.

Well that's down in Los Angeles area and I'm up North in the Bay Area. It would be a few hours drive to get there. For some reason I feel like I've been there though. I took a look at their website and looked at their pics and I think a friend and I went down there in his BMW to pick up an exhaust a few years back.
